Monday reflection - the joy of camp

Dear Friends and Families, It has been a tremendous year for the team at Camp Kivita and we are beyond thrilled that camp is finally here and we can bask in the joy of camp. We know that so many of you share our dream of transforming lives through camp. Camp is a truly a magical place where we can leave our worries behind, come together with friends new and old, and just have tons of fun!! Throughout the year, our team of volunteers work closely with our very generous supporters and we wanted to start off by acknowledging the wonderful support we have received.  A heartfelt thank you to the Citron Family, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Rexall Foundation, KRG Insurance, INTACT insurance, the Benjamin Walker Foundation, Boston Scientific, and many individual donors for your truly inspirational and generous support for camp. Without you we would not be able to provide camp so thank you from our campers and team. In addition to our generous donors, we held our first ever Gala in partnership with the incredible Shamba Foundation and their amazing team - Inga, Graziella and the wonderful staff. It was a magical evening and we were so fortunate to receive sponsorship for camp from some incredible organizations and new partners - we welcome you to the Camp Kivita family and thank you for sharing our dream of the magic of camp. It is now time for us to embark on a week full of joy. The sun is shining, the lake is sparkling and the campers are already busy making new friends and reconnecting with old ones, swimming, dancing, singing, and building memories to last a lifetime.
